Firies 0-06, Templenoe 2-15
A second half scoring spree from Templenoe gave them a good win over Firies in damp conditions in Firies last Saturday.
Adrian Spillane opened the scoring by converting a 45' and Brian Crowley followed with an early goal. Points by Brian Crowley, Cian Hallissey, Danny Cahalane and John Rice left the half time score Firies 0-06, Templenoe 1-05
A second half goal by Cian Hallissey put Templenoe in the driving seat. Templenoe were ahead by 2-09 to 0-06 when Firies were awarded a penalty which they missed. Templenoe finished the game with points from Adrian Spillane, Kieran McCarthy, Martin Reilly, Sean Sheehan and Teddy Doyle giving Templenoe a win on a final score of Firies 0-06, Templenoe 2-15

Templenoe 2-10, Glenflesk 2-12
A late scoring burst by Glenflesk saw then grab two valuable league points against Templenoe in round 4 of the county league.
Glenflesk, playing against the wind had a great start when Darragh Roche opened the scoring with a goal from a penalty. Templenoe over the next ten minutes hauled back Glenflesk’s lead with scores from Brian Crowley, Teddy Doyle and Danny Cahalane. A further point from Danny Cahalane saw Templenoe take the lead but Glenflesk cancelled his out soon after. Cian Hallissey pointed from a long range free and Templenoe followed up with a goal by Danny Cahalane after good work from corner forward Brian Crowley. Glenflesk again responded with a point but Templenoe got the last two points of the half through Denis O Neill and Teddy Doyle. Half time score Templenoe 1-07, Glenflesk 1-03.
Straight into the second half a long ball found Sean Sheehan isolated at the edge of the Glenflesk square, Sean coolly took his time and finished the ball to the net. Templenoe followed this with a point from Denis O Neill to leave them in a comfortable lead early in the second half. Glenflesk did not give up and followed with a point and soon followed with a goal from Danny Lucey. Glenflesk were doing very well around midfield and added more points through Darragh Roche, David O Donoghue and Michael O Shea to leave a point in the game 2-08 to 2-07. Tadhg Morley and Darragh Roche exchanged points and Brian Crowley pointed to leave Templenoe two points ahead with 5 minutes to go. Glenflesk finished the stronger and pushed hard to get scores from Shane Dennehy (2), Shane McGrath and Stephen Dennehy to leave the final score Templenoe 2-10, Glenflesk 2-12.

Fossa 0-08, Templenoe 1-18
Templenoe proved too good for Fossa in the Castleisland Co-Op Mart Novice quarter final, played in excellent conditions at Fossa on Sunday.
Before the throw in a minute silence was observed in honour on Michael Crowley Snr, Templenoe GAA Club President who passed away during the week.
Templenoe got off to a fantastic start through a goal by Brian Crowley inside five minutes. Points were added to by Brian Crowley and Teddy Doyle before Fossa Tadhg O Shea opened their account with a free. Templenoe continued their point scoring and had four unanswered points from Brian Crowley, Teddy Doyly & Danny Cahalane (2). Fossa’s full back Daniel O Keeffe sent over a point but Templenoe responded with points from John Rice and Killian Spillane. Both team’s swapped points and fossa followed up with two more, late on in the half. The last score of the half came Templenoe way from a fine Teddy Doyle effort leaving the half time score Fossa 0-05, Templenoe 1-10.
Templenoe who were playing against the breeze in the second half continued to dominant play but had some wasteful shooting in the first ten minutes. Points came from Killian Spillane (2), John Spillane and Brian Crowley to push the game out of Fossa’s reach. Fossa’s centre back struck over a fine point which was replied to by Killian Spillane. In the last ten minutes Templenoe finished out the scoring with points from Shane Cremin, Teddy Doyle and Daniel O Neill to leave the final score Fossa 0-08, Templenoe 1-18
