Cromane, who had some fine performances from Sean O Sullivan and Donnacha Walsh lead from the start and were 8 points in front at the break.

Cromane opened the scoring with a point from play and a free. Sean Sheehan had a fine point for Templenoe, before Cromane tagged on the next 4 points to put them 06 to 01 ahead. Both teams then exchanged scores, with Teddy Doyle and Patrick Palmer on target for Templenoe.
