Kerry Petroleum Senior Club Football Championship Group 1, RD3:

Templenoe 1-10, Na Gaeil 1-18. Hard luck to our senior footballers on losing out to an in-form Na Gaeil side last Saturday evening at Templenoe GAA Grounds. The score was 1-09 apiece after 38 minutes of play, but then Na Gaeil just had too much power for Templenoe in the remaining twenty plus minutes that saw then win out with eight points to spare at the final whistle.

Keane’s SuperValu County Minor Football Championship Group 3, RD2:

South Kerry 1-19, Killarney Legion 4-09. The South Kerry minors just about shaded a tight contest against Killarney Legion in the County Minor Championship last Thursday evening at Waterville. The Templenoe players involved with the South Kerry minors are Micheal O’Mahony, Caoilte ó h-Urdail and Jack Wiggins.

Lee Strand U16 County Football Championship:

Kenmare District 2-11, Castleisland District B 1-11. Well done to Kenmare District U16s on their 1st round win over Castleisland District B at Kilgarvan GAA Grounds last week. The players involved from Templenoe were Finn Byrne, Noel O’Neill, Jamie Gallivan, Danny O’Sullivan and Darragh O’Mahony. Shane Cremin is part of the management team.
