The fixtures for the County Junior Football League have been released. Templenoe have been drawn in a group with Skellig Rangers, Listry, Laune Rangers C and Beaufort.

The opening match is on Fri, 10th May, away to Skellig Rangers.

Fixtures are as follows.

Group 6, County Junior League

County JFL Rules and Regulations.

For all Groups the top team qualifies for the final while teams that finish 2^nd & 3^rd play in a S/Final with *2^nd placed team having home venue.

*In exceptional circumstances, ie where very long journey is involved the CCC may decide on a neutral venue.

Division 1 is 15 a-side.

Group 8 & 9 is 13 a-side

Remaining Groups are 15 a-side with the following exception:

Where a team has only 13 or 14 players available (ie max 1 Sub) 13 aside will be allowed to ensure game is played. Please note where both teams have 15 or more players available 15 a-side must be played.

Where teams finish level on points the following will apply to decide placing.

1. (a)Number of games played (team with most games played receive higher placing.

1. (b)Where two teams have the same number of points the result of the game will decide
   

1. (c)Scoring difference
   

1. (d)Play-off

Extra-Time will apply in all S/Finals and Finals.

Club Officers and Team Trainers are reminded of their responsibility to ensure the Junior League is played in the proper spirit. The Competition is for ‘B’ and in some cases ‘C’ players only and failure of clubs to adhere to this principle could mean being removed from the Competition and not being allowed compete in next years Co Junior League.

Please note the following:

Any team found to have played a 1^st 15 player will be removed from the competition.

A Club wishing to check 1^st 15 of any team in its group should contact Co Board and list will be forwarded to you.

Underage Coaching

Vince Cooper of the Kerry County Board, wants to organise a nursery programme for all of the underage coaches and parents that are or want to get involved in their underage structure in their local GAA team. This programme is for the Templenoe and Tuosist GAA clubs. The programme will be on 3 different evenings.

THEORY: Tuesday 7^th May @7:00pm until 9:00pm. It will be held in the Templenoe Community Hall

PRACTICAL: Thursday 9^th May @7:00pm until 8:15pm @Templenoe GAA field on common mistakes and faults

PRACTICAL: Monday 13^th May @7:00pm until 8:00pm @Templenoe GAA field to observe Vince take a session

GO Games

Under 10’s =      Will commence Monday the 6^th of May @6pm

                                The games will start @6pm on every Monday following the 6^th

The following teams have all been invited to attend, Templenoe, Tousist, Kilgarvan and Kenmare

Two matches will be played at the same time

There will be a full length game every week against a different opposition. (25mins)

They will be matches for 3 consecutive weeks 6^th, 13^th, 20^th.

Under 8’s=          Will commence Tuesday the 14th^th of May @6pm

                                The games will start @6pm on every Tuesday following the 14^th

The following teams have all been invited to attend, Templenoe, Tousist, Kilgarvan and Kenmare

Two matches will be played at the same time

There will be a full length game every week against a different opposition. (25mins)

They will be matches for consecutive 3 weeks 14^th,21^st, 28^th.
