Keane’s SuperValu County Minor Football Championship Quarter Final:
South Kerry 1-21, East Kerry 3-21. Hard luck to the South Kerry minor footballers on losing out to East Kerry at Waterville last Thursday evening, after a highly entertaining and exciting game that went all the ways to extra-time. The Templenoe players involved with South Kerry were Micheal O’Mahony, Jack Wiggins and Caoilte O hUrdail.
County U16 Football Shield Championship:
Well done to the Kenmare District U16 Football squad who travelled to Annascaul last week and to play West Kerry B in the second round of the County U16 Shield Championship. Kenmare District ran out comfortable winners on the evening on a scoreline of 1-03 to 3-13. Kenmare District were due to play South Kerry in the semi-final on Monday evening.
Templenoe GAA Golf Classic 2025:
Templenoe GAA Club will be holding our annual Golf Classic in association with Killarney, Kenmare, Cahersiveen Credit Union on the 20th and 21st September. This three-person scramble format at €200 per team, is taking place on our club sponsors course, the Ring of Kerry Golf Club. The fee includes a complimentary lunch for each member of the team.
The Sam Maguire will be present at the event on the Sunday evening. First prize - €1,500 Voucher valid for the Sheen Falls Lodge Kenmare and the Castlemartyr Resort Hotel, Cork. Prizes to the tune of €1,000 will be available to the other prize winners.
Tee boxes are also available to be sponsored at a price of €200 per tee box. If you wish to sponsor tee box & Team, this will cost €350.
