McCarthy Insurance County Senior Football League Div 2:
Templenoe 2-11, Castleisland Desmonds 1-13. Our senior footballers had a crucial win at home to Castleisland Desmonds on Sunday afternoon, to take them out of the relegation zone. In doing so, Templenoe have also ironically put themselves back into promotion contention for now at least, with three rounds of the county league remaining.
Templenoe will play table toppers Laune Rangers in the next round at JP O’Sullivan Park, Killorglin on the 6th / 7th June. All support welcome.
All-Ireland U20 Final:
Congratulations to Jack O'Sullivan, Barry Fitzsimons from the Kenmare Shamrocks club and to all the Kerry U20 footballers and management on winning the All-Ireland U20 final against Tyrone last Saturday at Croke Park.
Tailteann Cup:
Best of luck to Pat Spillane with Sligo who will play London at Ruislip in round 3 of the Tailteann Cup this Saturday, 6th June.
Underage Football:
U14 County Football Championship, Group 2, Round 1;
Kenmare District U14 footballers had a comprehensive win over South Kerry at Templenoe GAA Grounds last Monday evening.
U10s Football:
Our U10s played a very competitive game against Castletownbere last Wednesday evening in glorious conditions.
