McCarthy Insurance County Senior Football League Div 2:
Laune Rangers 1-12, Templenoe 1-12. Our senior footballers drew away to table toppers Laune Rangers after a highly entertaining game. This result leaves Templenoe in midtable and still in contention for promotion, but not yet safe from relegation in an extraordinarily competitive Division 2 with two rounds remaining.
All-Ireland Senior Football Championship:
Best of luck to Tadhg, Killian, the Kerry senior footballers and management versus Kildare in round 2B of the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship at Newbridge this Saturday.
Best wishes also to Pat Spillane with Sligo in their Tailteann Cup Quarter-Final against Fermanagh this weekend.
All-Ireland Minor Football Championship:
Noel O’Neill was part of the Kerry minor match day panel against Kildare in the All-Ireland minor football championship quarter final last Saturday. Unfortunately, Kerry came up short on the day and made their exit from the championship, but Noel will be underage for the Kerry minors again next year.
Underage Football:
U14 County Football Championship, Group 2, Round 1;
Kenmare District U14 footballers lost out to a strong Eoghan Rua out last Tuesday evening.
U10s Football:
Our U10s played Tuosist in the Beara league last week at Templenoe GAA Grounds. A good game of football despite the wet and cold weather. Well done to both teams.
