McCarthy Insurance County Senior Football League Div 2:
Templenoe 2-16, Ballymacelligott 1-13. Templenoe are promoted to Division 1 of the county senior football league for the second time in the club’s history. This was confirmed after our senior footballers got the win, they needed against Ballymac and by virtue of Templenoe’s head-to-head result against John Mitchels, who along with Glenbeigh/Glencar finished level on points with Templenoe.
This last time this feat was achieved by the club was back in 2015, when Templenoe won the Division 2 title and remained in the topflight division for four years.
Congratulations to our players and management on another proud achievement for the club.
All-Ireland Senior Football Semi Final:
Very best of luck to local players Tadhg, Killian, Seanie, the Kerry senior footballers and management against Dublin in the All-Ireland SFC semi-final at Croke Park this Sunday.
