South Kerry U16 Football Championship Final:
Dromid/Waterville 2-12, Na Fianna 1-11. Hard luck to the Na Fianna U16 footballers who lost out to Dromid/Waterville in the South Kerry U16 Championship final last Sunday at Renard GAA Grounds.
Scór na nÓg:
Well done to Killian Mahony, Gabriel Murphy & Oscar Burns, who represented Templenoe in Scór na nÓg at Dromid recently. They completed in both the Ballad Group and Instrumental Music. They came 2nd in the Instrumental Music.
Scór na bPáistí 2026:
Calling on all our primary school girls and boys that would be interested in representing Templenoe in Scór na bPáistí 2026. You do not have to play football with the club to enter Scór and there are plenty of events to choose from, solo, or with a group.
Events to choose from: Solo singing, Solo dancing, Solo instrumental, Figure/Céilí dancing, Ballad group, Instrumental group, Set dancing, Recitation/Scéalaíocht

South Kerry U16 Football Championship Final:
Na Fianna V Piarsaigh na Dromoda/Waterville is scheduled to be played on Sunday, 9th November at 11:30am. Venue is TBC at time of writing. Very best of luck to the Na Fianna players and management.
AIB Munster Club JHC Quarter-Final:
Hard luck to the Kenmare Shamrocks hurlers who were just pipped at the post by Knockaderry (Limerick) in the AIB Munster Club Junior Hurling Championship last Saturday at Templenoe GAA Grounds.

South Kerry Minor Championship Final:
St Michaels Foilmore / Skellig Rangers 0-17, Na Fianna 2-08. Commiserations to the Na Fianna minor footballers on their narrow defeat to St Michaels Foilmore / Skellig Rangers in the South Kerry Championship final which was played at Cahersiveen last Saturday. The Templenoe players involved were Micheál O’Mahony, Caoilte Ó hÚrdail, Jack Wiggins, Jamie Gallivan, Marc Foley and Shay Mulvanney. Micheál O’Mahony Snr was part of the management team.
Corn Uí Mhuirí
Micheál O’Mahony and Caoilte Ó hÚrdail (as sub) both got game time for Pobalscoil Inbhear Scéine who drew with St Francis College Rochestown on a scoreline of St Francis College Rochestown 0-13, Pobalscoil Inbhear Scéine 2-07 at Cloughduv last Wednesday in the first round of the Corn Uí Mhuirí.
AIB Munster Club JHC Quarter-Final:
Best of luck to the Kenmare Shamrocks hurlers against Knockaderry (Limerick) in the AIB Munster Club Junior Hurling Championship. This game is fixed to be played at Templenoe GAA Grounds on Saturday, 1st November, with a throw-in time of 1:30pm. Our own Aidan Crowley, Ciaran Crowley, Jack Wiggans and Cian O’Mahony are all part of the Kenmare Shamrocks panel.

McCarthy Insurance South Kerry League Final:
Templenoe 0-22, St Marys 2-14 (AET). Congratulations to our senior footballers and management on winning the South Kerry League final for the third time last Saturday at Ballinskellig after a very exciting and entertaining game against St Marys that went all the ways to extra time. The Templenoe team and scorers were as follows:

Beara U12 League:
Well done to the Templenoe U12 team who played an excellent final last Sunday against a very good Urhan side who won.
Sympathies:
All at Templenoe GAA Club were saddened to learn of the death of Jimmy Harrington (Reen), who passed away last Saturday morning. Jimmy was a former player, club secretary and underage mentor for Templenoe. We extend our sincere sympathies to Jimmy’s wife Mary, son Jerry, daughters Caitríona, Marie, Bríd, sister Mary, daughter in law and our senior team physio Caitríona and all the extended family.
Sincere condolences are also extended to Killian Spillane and his partner Megan O’Callaghan on the sad passing of Megan’s father Paudie O’Callaghan, Killarney.
May they rest in peace.
