Templenoe went on to outscore Austin Stacks by 0-05 to 1-03 in the second half, but a comeback was always going to be a bridge too far.

Although, the visitors were falling further behind they did manage to tag on a few scores of their own through Aidan Crowley (3) and Brian Crowley to keep their slim hopes alive.
Half Time Score: Listowel Emmets 1-12, Templenoe 0-05.
At the re-start the hosts actually increased to 12 points courtesy of points from Sean Keane and Jack McElligott, but then a goal and a point in quick succession from Cian Hallissey and Brian Crowley respectively would finally spark the visitors into life. Three points followed from Colin Crowley, Brian Crowley and Aidan Crowley, before Mark Casey rifled the ball to the net for a pivotal goal to make the score 1-14 to 2-09 midway through the second half.
Suddenly there was only two points separating the sides, Listowel Emmets briefly stemmed the visitors momentum with two points of their own, but Templenoe kept coming and got their just reward with further scores coming from Aidan Crowley (2), John Rice and Brian Crowley to snatch a draw at the jaws of defeat.
