South Kerry U16 Football Championship Final:

Na Fianna V Piarsaigh na Dromoda/Waterville is scheduled to be played on Sunday, 9th November at 11:30am. Venue is TBC at time of writing. Very best of luck to the Na Fianna players and management.

 

AIB Munster Club JHC Quarter-Final:

Hard luck to the Kenmare Shamrocks hurlers who were just pipped at the post by Knockaderry (Limerick) in the AIB Munster Club Junior Hurling Championship last Saturday at Templenoe GAA Grounds.

South Kerry Minor Championship Semi -Final:

Na Fianna 0-13, St Marys/Renard/Valentia 0-07. Well done to the Na Fianna minor footballers on their win over St Marys/Renard/Valentia in the South Kerry Championship semi-final last weekend.

Barhale Senior Football Championship Final:

Hard luck to our former player Josh Crowley Holland who was part of the Tir Chonaill Gaels team that narrowly lost to North London Shamrocks last weekend in the Barhale senior championship final on a scoreline of 3-07 to 0-13.

McCarthy Insurance South Kerry League Final:

Templenoe 0-22, St Marys 2-14 (AET). Congratulations to our senior footballers and management on winning the South Kerry League final for the third time last Saturday at Ballinskellig after a very exciting and entertaining game against St Marys that went all the ways to extra time. The Templenoe team and scorers were as follows:

Mark Looney, Michael Hallissey, Kieran O’Neill, Joseph Sheehan, Martin Reilly 0-02, Tadhg Morley 0-03 (1tp), John Moriarty, Sean Sheehan 0-01, Gavin Crowley 0-04, Colin Crowley 0-03 (1f), Mark Casey 0-01, Kieran McCarthy, Colm Breen, Adrian Spillane 0-02, Aidan Crowley 0-04 (1f). Beara U12 League:

Well done to the Templenoe U12 team who played an excellent final last Sunday against a very good Urhan side who won.

 

Sympathies:

All at Templenoe GAA Club were saddened to learn of the death of Jimmy Harrington (Reen), who passed away last Saturday morning. Jimmy was a former player, club secretary and underage mentor for Templenoe. We extend our sincere sympathies to Jimmy’s wife Mary, son Jerry, daughters Caitríona, Marie, Bríd, sister Mary, daughter in law and our senior team physio Caitríona and all the extended family.

Sincere condolences are also extended to Killian Spillane and his partner Megan O’Callaghan on the sad passing of Megan’s father Paudie O’Callaghan, Killarney.

May they rest in peace.

Templenoe GAA Club members were saddened to learn of the passing of Jimmy Harrington late of Reen who passed away this morning.
Jimmy was a former player who lined out for Templenoe in the 1950’s and 60s. Jimmy also served as Club Secretary for two years from 1966-67 and was always a supporter.
Templenoe GAA Club extends deepest condolences to Jimmy’s wife Mary, son Jerry, daughters Caitríona, Marie, Bríd, daughter in law and our senior team physio Caitríona and all the extended family.
