GAA Lotto:

EirGrid All-Ireland U20 Football Championship Final:

Very best of luck to our own Aidan Crowley, Kenmare Shamrock’s Darragh O’Connor, the Kerry U20s footballers and management against Tyrone in the All-Ireland U20 Final this weekend. It’s the first time that Kerry have reached an All-Ireland Final at this level since 2008. Last Templenoe player to win an All-Ireland medal with Kerry at U20/U21 grade was Mick Spillane back in 1977.

 

All-Ireland Senior Football Championship – Group 4:

Best of luck to Tadhg, Adrian, Killian and the Kerry senior footballers against Monaghan in the first round of the group stages at Fitzgerald Stadium this Saturday.

 

Credit Union County SFL Division 2, Round 7 Fixture:

Austin Stacks V Templenoe at Connolly Park, Tralee this weekend – Date and time TBC.

 

Underage Football:

Kellehers Garage Central Region U17 Div 1B result: Na Gaeil 2-12, Na Fianna 1-14.

Lee Strand County U15 League, Division 6 semi-final result: Na Fianna 2-16, Knocknagoshel 4-06.

Lee Strand County U13 League – Na Fianna A and B teams were in action last weekend against Churchill and Kerins O’Rahillys respectively. Although neither our A or B teams came out the right side of the results, both teams played well and fought to the end, which will stand to them well as they commence phase 2 of the county league.

Well done to Timmy O’Mahony and Adam Leonard who were part of the U10 Kenmare team that made it to the semi-finals of the Kerry Community Games, Gaelic football tournament recently

Credit Union County SFL Division 2:

Templenoe 1-13, Kenmare Shamrocks 1-08. A great performance from our senior footballers saw them overcome our neighbours Kenmare Shamrocks with five points to spare at Templenoe GAA Grounds last Saturday evening. 

Templenoe’s next game in the county league is away to Austin Stacks on the 17th / 18th May.

 

All-Ireland Senior and U20 Football Championships 2024:

Well done to Tadhg, Adrian, Killian and the Kerry senior footballers on their Munster Final win over Clare at Ennis last Sunday.

Congratulations also to Aidan Crowley and the Kerry U20s footballers on defeating Cork in the Munster U20 Final.

 

Underage Football:

Kellehers Garage Central Region U17 Div 1B result from last Friday evening: Keel/Listry 2-18, Na Fianna 2-11. On Monday evening last Na Fianna had a one-point win away to John Mitchels on a scoreline of John Mitchels 2-09, Na Fianna 1-13. 

Lee Strand County U15 League, Division 5A result from last Wednesday evening: Na Fianna 0-10, Rathmore 2-08.

Well done to Micheal O’Mahony who came on for the Kerry South U16s in their win over Galway last weekend and Micheal also kicked over one point when introduced.

 

Water Safety Week:

Water Safety Week takes place in Templenoe on July 8th. Registration for the weeks will open later in May at kerrywatersafety.com.

John Mitchels 1-09, Templenoe 1-09. Our senior footballers drew away to John Mitchels last Sunday.

Templenoe will play our neighbours Kenmare Shamrocks next Saturday (Throw-in time to be confirmed) in round 6 of the competition. All support very welcome for this local derby game.

 

All-Ireland Senior and U20 Football Championships 2024:

Wishing Tadhg, Adrian, Killian and the Kerry senior footballers the best of luck in the Munster Final against Clare in Ennis next Sunday.

Best wishes also to Aidan Crowley and the Kerry U20s team versus Cork in the Munster U20 Football Final this Wednesday evening in Tralee. The Kerry U20s defeated Tipperary at Austin Stack Park in round 3 last week on a scoreline of 1-15 to 1-10.

Lee Strand County U15 Division 5A League game result: Na Fianna narrowly lost to Ballyduff by two points last Wednesday evening in Sneem.

Lee Strand County U13 League, Division 11, Phase 1 round 5 result: Na Fianna B lost at home to Ardfert B last Sunday evening in Templenoe.

Templenoe GAA Club wishes to express condolences to Elaine, Tomas, and Chloe O’Connor Rossacoosane and the wider Houlihan family on the passing of Elaine’s mother Vera Houlihan late of Clare and Sligo. May she Rest in Peace.

Best of luck to Tadhg, Adrian, Killian, the Kerry senior footballers and management as they take on Cork in the Munster Senior Football Championship Semi-Final this Saturday.

Well done to Aidan Crowley who part the Kerry U20s team that defeated Clare in the first round of the Munster U20 Football Championship last week. The Kerry U20s are due to play Cork this Wednesday evening in round 2 and we wish Aidan and the team all the best.

 

Underage Football Results and Fixtures:

The Keane’s Supervalu County League Division 3 final between Na Fianna and Glenflesk/Kilgarvan was due to be played on Monday, 15th April. Na Fianna defeated Churchill in the semi-final last week on a scoreline of 1-12 to 1-08.

Lee Strand County U15 League Division 5A round 4 fixture: Na Fianna are due to play Gneeveguilla away this Wednesday evening at 7pm.

Lee Strand County U13 League, Division 5, Phase 1 round 3 result Na Fianna lost away to Kerins O’Rahillys.

Na Fianna U13s are scheduled to play Fossa at home venue in the next round on Sunday, Sunday 21st April at 6pm.

The Templenoe U11 footballers are due to play their second Go Games group match on Thursday, 18th April away to Glenbeigh/Glencar.
